"The Click That Broke a Government's Grip"

I read a sweet article recently about how the internet is helping to check and balance the totalitarian regieme of communist China. It seems to me that modernization requires individuals manage a level of control on their lives and become educated to such an extent that tyrannys like this one and that in Iran become very difficult to keep going. I think communism in China is going down, hard. It's still a long time in coming, but I think it'll happen during my lifetime. Whether this occurs before or after they take over the world with their massive and growing economy is something we'll have to wait and see.
