Brian Bosak, please read this

Well, it's been over a week. I hope you're all feeling rested and replenished - I know I am.

Before we get going with our September tally and the bulk of this post, a quick note to Brian Bosak, one of the many sneaky readers of this blog who never comments: I got your message two weeks ago, and meant to call you back promptly, and obviously haven't. I've since lost your number, since I didn't save it quickly enough, so call me back sometime. I have your old number, but that wasn't the one you called me on, so anyway, call me back. And that's all I have to say to you for the moment.

First things first (or next things next, rather) - here's how you all measured up in the month of September:
Pragmaticism: 4
Standingoutinthecold: 6
Poetry and Scotch: 7
Anglican + Calvinist: 1
Sociological Imagination: 3
Filosofia y Flores: 19
Fashion, Trends, Movies, Etc.: 11
Heavenly Hosting: -12 (due to penalties incurred)
Angels on the Sideline: 2
Inside Out: 1
Red Hurt Machine: 10

I guess what this says is that we've all been pretty busy this past month, because none of us had time to post much except EAP, who diligently posts regardless of what's going on in her life, usually.

I for one have been working like a dog, a hound dog, you might say, to get a project done here at work. I can happily say it's on schedule and that I can probably slow down some in the coming weeks, which is just dandy.

My wife and I spent this past weekend in Wisconsin, tasting cheese and attending her cousin's wedding. The wedding was nice and we spent some wonderful time with her family, who were also nice enough to put us up. We stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn on their credit card points, where I slept on a king sized foam mattress for the first time ever. I'll never be the same. It was by far the best bed I've ever slept on and some of the best sleep I've ever experienced. The cheese was okay, but paled in comparison to the mattress.

Not the taste of the mattress. Just over all greatness. But we didn't have much cheese.

In other news, it's going to be another busy week despite my relaxed work schedule because this weekend we're going to out of town, back to our old roots at PA. I'll be there exactly one week before the rest of you, who are probably going for home coming, as we're flying out with my brother for one of those Senior Days we all loved to hate while we were students. I'm excited to see a few professors and a few old roommates including GMack, whom I love, even if the rest of you won't be there.

Well, that's it for me. Have a great Monday, and I'll do my best to check back in before Friday, and if not, I'm sure you don't care, so, see ya.

was it a tempurpedic? If I ever get an extra $2500 or so, I'm totally buying one. I LUST after one nightly.

I totally think that you should just have combined my two blogs. I might have given EAP a run for her money.

Your combined score is -1. Did you not see your penalty points?

Mair, I want to say something about your nightly lust, but I just can't think of anything appropriate except this: let's try to keep this blog pg-13 at the worst, ok?

whatever. I'm the least vulgar of us all!

I don't know mair...you really do need to keep the lusting to a minimum (or at least talking about it). Some of us here like to keep certain aspects of our lives private.

Unfortunately, you aren't one of them, GMack.
