Iraqi Bloggers

The BBC has been watching and collecting posts from various blogs out of Iraq. Very interesting reading for first-hand non-media accounts of life in Bagdad.

I read about two-thirds of the posts and it paints an interesting picture. The area is recovering from the destruction and destitution that war brings, but life goes on. The Iraqi youth soccer team beat it's Syrian rivals and people post about the incessant noise and what's on TV. They all seem to be very greatful Saddam is gone, very upset about and against the continued insurgency, and very ready for the US to leave.

everyone knows they don't allow poodles in Iraq. i vote for "a well trained pokémon". Particularly a Pikachu or Charmander

They need a well trained Jiggly Puff. She could lul them all into a peaceful slumber and when they awoke the world would be a pretty place full of flowers and cute puppies.
